FAQ-AG-4 GYRO

AG-4 GEN2 FAQ
What scale RC cars is the AG-4 GEN2 compatible with?
AG-4 GEN2 is designed for 1:24 and 1:28 scale RC drift cars and supports both RWD and AWD setups.
Can I adjust the gyro from my phone?
Yes. AG-4 GEN2 supports Bluetooth tuning through the ARK EDGE App, available on both iOS and Android.
What parameters can I adjust in the ARK EDGE App?
You can adjust Gyro Mode, Sensitivity / Gain, Steering Ratio, and Gyro Damping. Settings can be read from and written to the gyro through the app.
How many gyro modes does AG-4 GEN2 have?
AG-4 GEN2 features 5 built-in gyro response modes, each using a different steering response curve to suit different chassis setups and driving preferences.
What is EPA and why does it need to be calibrated?
EPA (End Point Adjustment) defines the usable steering range of the chassis. AG-4 GEN2 supports independent adjustment of the Center, Left End Point, and Right End Point to ensure the gyro correctly recognizes the steering range.
Can I adjust the gyro without using the app?
Yes. Basic functions including EPA setup and mode switching can be performed directly using the physical SETUP button on the gyro.
Where should the gyro be installed?
Install the gyro on a flat and stable surface with the sensor facing upward. Keep it away from major vibration sources such as the motor.
Why does my car have steering jitter or shaking after installing the gyro?
Excessive chassis vibration can affect the gyro's sensor readings. If steering jitter or shaking occurs, check the mounting position and consider using softer or thicker double-sided tape to improve vibration isolation.
What voltage does the AG-4 GEN2 support?
The operating voltage range is 4.8–6.0V.
How small and light is the AG-4 GEN2?
The gyro measures just 21.6 × 13.3 × 7.5 mm and weighs 2.9 g including the case and PCB.
