A-Tile Type A is a modular drift track surface developed specifically for 1/24 scale RWD RC drifting.

Rather than simply shrinking down a conventional RC drift surface, A-Tile was developed around the weight, tire load, suspension travel, and driving characteristics of small-scale RWD drift cars.

The result is a surface that gives the chassis more readable feedback through steering, suspension, and weight transfer — creating a driving experience that feels more alive at 1/24 scale.

DEVELOPED FOR 1/24 RWD DRIFT

The behavior of a 1/24 chassis is very different from a 1/10 drift car.

A-Tile Type A has been developed through repeated track testing to create a surface response suited to lightweight mini drift chassis, allowing small setup changes to be felt more clearly while driving.

From suspension tuning to weight transfer and throttle control, the surface becomes part of the setup.

Not just a smaller track.
A surface developed around 1/24 drifting.

WAX-FREE, CONSISTENT SURFACE

No waxing or polishing is required before driving.

A-Tile is designed to maintain a stable surface condition through regular use, reducing the maintenance required by conventional drift flooring while providing repeatable driving characteristics from session to session.

Set up the track and drive.

REALISTIC ROAD UNDULATION

A perfectly flat surface is not always the most interesting surface.

A-Tile introduces subtle road-like undulation into the driving experience, allowing the suspension to work continuously as the chassis moves across the track.

This gives the car more dynamic movement and makes suspension setup, damping, and chassis balance easier to feel behind the wheel.

MODULAR. REBUILDABLE. EXPANDABLE.

Each 250 × 250 mm tile can be arranged as part of a larger track surface.

The modular format makes it possible to expand the driving area, rebuild layouts, or adapt the track to different spaces without committing to a permanent floor installation.

Suitable for:

  • Home drift setups
  • RC clubs
  • Dedicated 1/24 drift tracks
  • Events and temporary layouts
  • Track expansion and custom configurations

BUILT FOR REPEATED USE

A-Tile Type A is designed with long-term RC track use in mind, with emphasis on wear resistance, dimensional stability, and consistent surface behavior.

The modular construction also makes individual sections easier to handle, store, replace, and reorganize compared with a permanently installed track surface.

BUILT TO FEEL THE DIFFERENCE

A-Tile was created around a simple idea:

At 1/24 scale, the track surface should be part of the driving experience.

Every steering input, suspension adjustment, and weight transfer starts where the tires meet the ground.

That is where A-Tile begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is A-Tile Type A made of, and why is it injection-molded?

A-Tile Type A is made from a specially formulated material and manufactured using an injection-molding process.

Compared with conventional cut or sheet-based track surfaces, injection molding helps maintain more consistent dimensions, surface texture, and overall quality from tile to tile. This consistency is especially important for creating a stable driving surface across a larger track.

2. Does A-Tile really require no wax or track prep?

Yes. A-Tile Type A is designed as a wax-free drift surface.

Its material and surface characteristics are specifically tuned for 1:24 RC drifting, so you do not need to repeatedly apply drift wax or other track-preparation chemicals during normal use.

This also means less daily maintenance and a cleaner chassis and track environment.

3. What tires should I use on A-Tile?

Regular POM drift tires work well on A-Tile and are our recommended starting point.

The AE24X EVO-R also comes with wheels and tires that can be used directly on A-Tile.

We are also developing dedicated A-Tile tires to provide more setup options in the future.

Different tire compounds and chassis setups may still produce different driving characteristics, so drivers can tune the car based on their own preferred feel.

4. Why isn't the A-Tile surface completely flat?

The subtle surface variation is intentional.

Instead of creating a perfectly flat and featureless floor, A-Tile introduces a more realistic road feel so that suspension movement and chassis setup can have a more noticeable effect while driving.

This creates additional feedback during suspension tuning and makes the driving experience closer to a real road environment rather than a completely flat indoor surface.

5. Why are there holes on every A-Tile?

The holes are a unique part of the A-Tile system and are designed for future track expansion.

They can be used as mounting points for accessories such as barriers and other track-side elements, allowing players and clubs to build more complete and realistic RC drift environments.

We also plan to share compatible accessory designs and related files with the community in the future, giving players more freedom to create and customize their own track ecosystem.

6. Does A-Tile come with a preset track layout?

No. A-Tile does not come with a fixed driving route.

We intentionally leave the layout up to the player. You can design your own corners, clipping zones, straights, technical sections, or practice layouts depending on your available space.

Because the tiles are modular, the layout can also be changed whenever you want. One track surface can continuously become a completely different driving experience.

7. How large is one A-Tile, and how much area does one box cover?
Tile Size 25 × 25 cm
Tiles Per Box 70 pcs
Coverage Approx. 4.3 m²
Box Weight Approx. 15 kg

A-Tile can also be continuously expanded by adding additional tiles, making it suitable for everything from compact home setups to larger club tracks.

8. How should I clean and maintain A-Tile?

Daily maintenance is simple.

For normal dust and surface dirt, a regular household mop is usually sufficient. The most important thing is to keep the track surface clean and free from oil or greasy substances, as these may affect the driving feel.

Because A-Tile does not require regular waxing, maintenance is significantly simpler than many conventional drift surfaces.

Safety Note: The surface may be slippery when being cleaned or when walked on, so please take care when cleaning or stepping onto the track.
9. How is A-Tile different from traditional PVC, P-Tile, carpet, or other drift surfaces?

A-Tile was developed specifically around the needs of 1:24 RC drifting rather than adapting an existing household flooring material.

Its key differences include a wax-free surface, injection-molded consistency, modular expansion, freely configurable layouts, realistic road feel, and integrated mounting points for future track accessories.

The goal is not simply to create another surface to drift on, but to create a dedicated and expandable 1:24 RC drift environment.

10. Is A-Tile suitable for home use and RC drift clubs?

Yes.

For home users, the modular 25 × 25 cm format makes it possible to build a track based on the available room and change the layout whenever desired.

For clubs and commercial RC drift tracks, the system can be expanded to cover larger areas, redesigned for different events or practice sessions, and combined with future barriers and track accessories.

Whether it is a small home practice area or a full RC drift club setup, A-Tile is designed to grow with your space and your driving needs.
